There was an overwhelming amount of generous sponsorships, donations, and volunteerism; support that made our program possible.  We at Ms. Wheelchair Virginia can not express our gratitude enough.  Our contestants from the Ms. Wheelchair Virginia 2009-2010 program wish to personally thank each of you who had any role in the pageant.

The Ms Wheelchair Virginia Gala weekend comes to a close. We each look back and recall the highlights... the funny moments backstage, the scary on-stage appearance, the inspirational words of all.
It's difficult to imagine just how much effort and how many people it took to orchestrate this weekend extravaganza not to mention to keep the "Wheels" in motion all year long.  
From choreographing the stage appearances to posting those helpful  directional signs for parking. So much planning and so many details... scheduling events and recruiting volunteers and judges. There were workshops  and presenters to arrange; Hotel  stays to be made. There were flowers and luxurious  Gift Bags. Stage managers,  entertainers and our photographer shared their skills and insights [to the generosity of the sponsors, AmeriCorps members, and the Board].
I am honored to have participated in such a spectacular event and grateful for all the helpers.  I am enriched by all I met.
